Scrapbooking To Benefit Playhouse

Area crafters are invited to attend a scrapbooking event from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Windsor Community Playhouse, 561 E. Garden Drive., Windsor.

Cost is $25 and includes supplies from Creative Memories, lunch and a snack.

A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the Windsor Community Playhouse and its mission to enhance the arts in Northern Colorado.

Car seat class to be held May 12

Safe Kids Larimer County will offer a class for families in need of a car seat or booster seat for their child.

Registration is required for the class at 4:30 p.m. May 12 at Loveland Fire Station No. 6, 4325 McWhinney Blvd., Loveland.

Seats are limited to one per family per year.

Classes are offered in English and Spanish.

Alpaca open house set May 16

Two Northern Colorado alpaca ranches will host an Alpaca Festival Open Barn Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 16.

Ridge Valley Alpaca Ranch and Alpaca King Ranch have more than 40 alpacas in various sizes and colors.

Festivities will include feeding and touching the animals, shopping in the farm store;, watching a looming demonstration, a barbecue, and activities for children.

All events will be at 6921 Ridge Valley Court., Loveland.
