Baby Paper For Scrapbooking

Once you have decided to skip the traditional baby book and create something completely created by yourself, you may be wondering how to find the baby paper for scrapbooking. The fact is you are not the first person to decide you want to create a memorable keepsake for your baby; therefore there are dozens of places to find this type of themed paper and a large variety as well.

What is great about scrapbooking today is that the prices have gone done so much that everyone can afford to create something special for their baby and you can find the materials practically anywhere if they have a crafting section to their store.

When you think of baby scrapbook paper, you may picture little pink rabbits, rubber duckies, toys and of course pastel colors. In the scrapbooking world, you have complete creative control over your baby's scrapbook; therefore you are not limited to the traditional and even cliché baby themed papers that exist.

You can choose from literally thousands of different themes, patterns and colors for your scrapbook and simply add the baby accessories and decorative pieces later. You will find that the most affordable way to purchase your baby scrapbook paper is to buy it in a scrapbook kit or a book.

Many of the craft stores and manufacturers today sell baby themed scrapbook paper in large books of up to 1000 sheets. Some books offer double sided paper, one side color and the other side pattern which allows you to mix and match whenever you want!

You can also choose to buy your baby scrapbook paper separately in packages of 2-5 sheets to allow you to mix and match as you see fit. Maybe at the beginning of your scrapbooking you will want to go with the baby theme paper and then half way through you decide to change to solid color paper or even a different type of pattern, you can. It is completely up to you.

The great thing about creating a scrapbook is that not all the pages and layouts have to be the same; you can make each and every page different if you want or you continue through the entire album with the same layout and theme.

You will find that of all your scrapbook materials and accessories, the baby paper for your scrapbook is very important. This component literally creates the atmosphere of the album and that particular page. Once you have decided on the paper you are going to use, the rest of the decorations, accessories and lettering have to match this theme.

As you can see your baby paper for scrapbooking is the essential part of your album because everything else you choose to use on that page needs to coordinate. Take the time to layout your page before permanently gluing or taping it down so you can see just how everything looks together when you are done.

Beginner's Baby Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking can be a fun and creative hobby that helps you immortalize your memories and relax in the process. But, if you're new on the job, starting a project can be difficult. So, what should you know before you start your beginner's baby scrapbooking project? Follow these tips and you'll be on your way!

#1 - Stick with a Theme

Before you begin any sort of scrapbooking project, it is important that you know where you're headed. Essentially, this means that you have a plan so that you don't keep yourself from being productive. To start your baby scrapbook, you need to pick a theme that will give flow to your pages. Whether you pick an alphabet or animal theme, your beginner's baby scrapbooking project will be begun.

#2 - Be Prepared

A piece of advice that should always follow, regardless of the project, is to get yourself organized. Scrapbooking requires a large number of materials, space, and time. So, when you're starting off, make sure that you have everything you need. Remember to have adhesive, paper, archival pens, templates, stickers and other embellishments, and cutting tools nearby. You'll save time in the long run by doing this. And, you'll have an easier time visualizing your beginner's baby scrapbooking project with all of your materials on hand.

#3 - Layer Away

To give your pages a great deal of interest, layer your stickers and photos on more than one sheet and color of paper. Each time you layer, change the paper size and give your pages a stacking effect. It makes your items look more dimensional and exciting.

#4 - Blend Colors

When you're selecting your materials, try to pick colors that compliment each other. You can do this by mixing different intensities of the same color (light pink with dark pink) or with different patterns of the same color. Plus, you can mix pastels of several colors or all primary colors on your pages. Keeping things uncolored won't be interesting; changing up your palette will.

#5 - Layout Twice, Glue Once

Ultimately, the page layout on your beginner's baby scrapbook project will determine the overall effect. This means that if your pages look boring and simple, they won't be interesting to look at. So, get all of your elements ready by layering your photos and selecting your embellishments. Then, place them on your scrapbook page. See how everything fits and even try moving it around a few times. When you're finally satisfied, glue it down. This will keep you from trying to pull up glued items and possibly damaging photos.

Being a beginner at baby scrapbooking isn't such a bad thing. You need to keep yourself organized and your beginner's baby scrapbooking project will be a big hit!

Today parents are busy everyday with either work or taking care of children. Here I share my simple methods of scrapbooking for busy parents who are keen to keep their baby's wonderful life moments.

Stage #1 Newborn baby

For a newborn baby, the most interesting is creating hand and feet print scrapbooking. This is done by making both hands print and feet print using an ink pad on a piece of drawing paper or construction paper, then deco the paper surrounding with baby photos and some sweet embellishment.

At this stage interesting candid shoots of standing stunt, crawling or sitting while playing some toys is the best scrapbook topic. You can use some cute candid photo to create simple scrapbooking using colorful construction paper, with simple word such as my angel crawling experience, or my first step to learn...
